Just a short note to thank your company for the Oxygen Concentrator Eclipse 3LPM Portable that we purchased 9th October 2007.
At the time my mother had been using an oxygen concentrator for over 6 years, the last 3 years in a nursing home in NSW. Being somewhat restricted by the cumbersome machine she had not been able to leave any facility. Other than a few ambulance trips to the hospital she had not been out, or able to go anywhere. With the arrival of the eclipse portable concentrator, life suddenly changed, for not only my mother but the entire family. The machine is easy to use and once mum became familiar, off we went. The first couple of outings were remarkable, bringing tears of joy to us all. She even remarked “there is a world out there” and the cars had changed. The first few trips were just around the South Coast area, the river etc.
As my father was recently diagnosed with an incurable cancer, the machine was purchased so mum may be able to visit him, when he couldn’t make the trip to the nursing home. Mum’s first trip home was life changing for her and us. She was able to visit the farm, see the local town and businesses. Again my mother had been imprisoned for over 6 years. Dad dearly loved his wife and he was so comforted by her visits. When my father deteriorated, we rushed up to the nursing home and “borrowed” mums machine so dad could use it and continue working.
My father passed away on November 20th 2007 and my mother again used the machine to attend his funeral, a very special day for the entire family. Mum will be spending this Christmas with the family and it will be a special day.
On behalf of the family, I thank your company for providing this “life saving” machine, so easy to use, with great back up systems.
I highly recommend the eclipse and would not hesitate to speak to anyone, should they need any further information.
