Mr Bryan Jacobs and his wife Terry have purchased the entire business of MIA and the operation was handed over by Eastland Medical Systems on the 1st February 2010. Bryan and Terry have more than 25 years experience each in both Private and Corporate Medical Distribution companies. Jacobs Medical Australia was long term Radiology consumable and equipment supplier until it was sold in 2004. We have a vast knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand medical markets and an excellent record with suppliers of quality medical products worldwide.
Medical Industries Australia is now a division of Alpine Medical Pty Ltd.,
During the due diligence process it was clear that MIA has exceptional, untapped potential for growth in the ANZ markets.
Since the 1st February, we have successfully completed;
- Restructuring of the staffing
- identification and notification of the change to our top 20 customers
- the work to assess product and product mix
- a full assessment of the IT hardware, software and support
- reorganisation of the service arm
- the setting up of a National sales Team who report to the National Sales Manager
Our first National sales meet is scheduled for February, 9th at Lane Cove.
We are keen to grow this business and request that you continue to supply your products through MIA. You can expect timely payment, within agreed terms, for your products.
